DHL Leaders Day 2026

This notice is provided to explain how your personal data is collected and used for this event, in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). It covers the DHL Leaders Day companion app only.

What we collect

Last 6 digits of IC (or passport number, for non-Malaysian participants)	Login credential — matches you to your existing event registration
4-digit PIN you choose	Secures your login on your own device; we never see the PIN itself, only a salted hash of it
Dietary preference (vegetarian y/n)	Catering arrangements
Transport and hotel check-in timestamps	Confirm attendance and travel arrangements during the event

We do not collect your phone number, email address, or a photo through this app.

How your data is used

To identify you when you log in and to load your personal event details (transport, hotel).
To record attendance and check-in status when you scan an event QR code.
To let event organizers manage registrations, seating, and logistics through the admin console.

Your data is not sold, shared with third parties for marketing, or used for any purpose beyond running this event.

Who can see your data

You — your own profile, in the app, after logging in with your IC/passport and PIN.
Authorized DHL Leaders Day event organizers, through a separately secured admin login, for event operations only.
No one else. The public cannot browse or search participant data.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on Supabase (a managed Postgres database provider) and accessed through Firebase-hosted services. Access is restricted by login credentials and server-side authorization checks.

How long we keep it

Your event data is retained for the duration of the DHL Leaders Day 2026 and a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping (e.g. attendance confirmation), after which it is deleted or anonymized unless you ask us to remove it sooner.

Your rights

Under the PDPA, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held for this event. Contact the organizing team using the details below.
